McCoun Tomahawks is the product of three generations of makers. In the early 60's Charles McCoun started by making a few knives, these were passed down to his son Mark McCoun. In the late 80's Mark started Making knives. In the beginning it was just for family and friends then he started selling at local gun shows.

McCoun Tomahawks has evolved in the last decade as a father, Mark McCoun, and his two sons, Dylan and Seth, advanced the art of forging combat tactical tomahawks. This has grown into two online buisnesses with Mark McCoun and Dylan McCoun running similar businesses under the same McCoun Tomahawks banner.
